Argument Writing - Cellphones
At the end of last term and the start of this term we wrote an argument about should students be aloud to bring their cellphones to school. I was in a group with Reagan, Iris and Arielle. I found this really fun and interesting because I got to see what the rest of my group wrote about this topic.
Angles DLO - Mathematics News on 90࿀
After we had finished our individual maths work we had to create a DLO using screencastify explaining angles. I made a DLO with Reagan, we pretended to be News reporters talking about angles. We had LOTS of fun making it.

Here are some Tricks we learnt to help us remember the names of each angle.
- Obtuse ( Think of obese meaning big)
- Reflex ( Think about your reflexes and your elbow )
- Acute ( Think about it being little and cute )

Looking back on the last 2 terms. . .
- What were the highlights?
Getting second in the kidzlit quiz by one point.
Going to Hanmer Springs for 3 days at school camp and doing lots of fun things like going orienteering, mountain biking, bush walks, Conical hill, the lolly shop and the hot pools.
Getting under 2 minutes in basic facts.
- What am I most proud of?
Getting 1.36 in basic facts - and getting on the basic facts score board.
Getting second by 1 point in the kidzlit quiz.
- What is a goal that you want to work towards next term?
Building a relationship with the new teacher in term 3 & 4
Getting into the ASB netball team.
Getting under a 1.20 in basic facts.
