See Ya, Simon - Character introductions

For our class novel we have been reading See Ya, Simon a book written by David Hill. We were given an activity where we had to use Avatar or Face Your Manga to create 3 characters. We had to write a paragraph introducing them. Here is my slide.

Myth - Puni and the Panikeke

For the past few weeks Totara hub have been working on writing a myth or legend to explain a natural phenomenon.  I chose to write my myth about the formation of the Pancake Rocks in Punakaiki.  I really enjoyed this activity because I got to be creative and use my imagination.  I look forward to reading your comments.

Hanmer Springs Brochure

Since we have gone on school camp to Hanmer Springs Miss Hines gave us an activity to do about Hanmer. For this activity we had to find 5 attractions in Hanmer Springs and write a quick paragraph about them, we also had to add when it was open and the prices.

Week 6 - Maths Work Book - Interpreting Timetables

This week ( and a part of last week ) in maths we have been learning about "interpreting Timetables" For our work book we have some examples of the Christchurch bus routes.
